MTV, Meat the Victims. In the spring of 2019, around 120 animal rights activists from multiple countries occupied a Dutch pig breeding facility in Boxtel in the Netherlands. The event was the largest animal rights action in the nations history and gathered massive media attention as well as sparking heated debate in the country about whether the activists were justified in illegally entering the farm. Industry, media and government propaganda would have us believe that ‘bad’ farms like this are the exception however there are thousands of farms like this all over Europe and the rest of the planet. They are all the same, breeding beings into existence for profit, some conditions are worse, some better, though there are no good farms.
